Do not use this application if you have a short deadline. Some examples are:

 Do not use if you have a hearing scheduled within 15 days

DO NOT apply online and at your local office. If you do that it may make it harder for us to figure out whether we can help, or not.

By using this web site, you are asking for legal help in DELAWARE. Completing this application does not make you a client of Delaware Volunteer Legal Services(DVLS). DVLS staff will use the information you enter to help determine if you are eligible for our services and if we can try to help you. DVLS has income and asset limitations for all non-family law cases, you will be asked information about your income and assets as part of our eligibility screening process.

Eligibility does not guarantee representation. We rely on volunteer attorneys and cannot guarantee assistance even if you meet our eligibility guidelines.
